Yakumo Fishery Cooperative Association has employed DSB transceivers DR-100 for all their vessels and CS-150 system capable of port entrance/departure monitoring as well as tracking of all their vessels at the same time to 27 MHz band 1 W fishery radio station system, facilitating swift prompt response in case of incidents. On top of the conventional voice communications, data communication capability using A2D format, recently permitted in Japan, is incorporated, hence enabling reception and transmission of emergency notices. The transmission of the emergency notices can be made using characters. Also, the coastal radio station can manage port entrance/departure of its vessels by port entrance/departure monitoring system.
